RouraWidgets Privacy Policy

The short version
- No account, no ads, no tracking and no analytics SDKs. We don't run servers that receive your data.
- Your designs, photos, notes, habits and focus history are stored on your device. If you turn on iCloud Sync, your design settings are also stored in your own iCloud account.
- A few features talk to Apple services, and only when you use them. They're listed below.
What stays on your device
These are kept in app storage shared with the RouraWidgets widget:
- widget designs, app choices, Shortcut names and website links
- background photos, wallpaper crops and downloaded app icons
- design history, pinned notes, saved themes
- Focus Studio sessions and history, and Habit Board counts and streaks
We never receive any of it.
- Calendar and Reminders (optional, with your permission): widgets read upcoming events and reminders on your iPhone. Completing a reminder in the widget, or saving one in Quick Capture, updates it through Apple's Reminders. Your Apple account may sync it as you've set it up.
- Health (optional, with your permission): the Wellness Board reads only today's steps and active energy. The totals are cached on your device so the widget can show them. They're never used for AI, public share links, backups or iCloud design sync. Disconnect & Clear Health deletes the cache; manage access in the Health app. Widgets show information, not medical advice.
- Diagnostics: crash reports and widget status stay on your device unless you choose Share Diagnostics.

Sharing and backups
- Share links and pictures include the design: layout, look and app choices. They leave out photos, wallpaper crops, notes, Health, habit names and counts, calendar or list choices, and Shortcut names. A preview picture shows whatever is on screen, so check it before sharing.
- Private backups include designs, photos, icons, launch actions and notes. They leave out Health and purchases. A backup is a readable file, so keep it somewhere you trust.
Children
RouraWidgets isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices
- Edit or delete designs.
- Turn off iCloud Sync or App Store icons.
- Disconnect Health.
- Manage Calendar, Reminders, Location and Notifications in iOS Settings.
- Delete crash reports.
Deleting the app removes what it stored on this device. Turn off iCloud Sync first if you also want the iCloud copy gone. Files you exported or shared stay wherever you put them.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above, and note it in the app's What's New.
